Frustrated man

DPIA on a page

We strive to explain data protection concepts in a way employees can grasp - in a simple, visual format.

The source of the concepts can be requirements from various data protection laws, or guidance material from for example, the EDPB.

The education materials we develop and use are highly visual and contextual and are supplemented with one-pagers or quick reference documents like this one for data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) which attempts to summarise the gist of WP29's 'Guidelines on Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) (wp248rev.01)'

To mark this week's anniversary around GDPR, Purpose and Means is having a ‘Great GDPR Giveaway’ making available for free some of our visual material that you can adapt and make use of in your context.

Today's giveaway is this DPIA one-pager that may come in useful if you need to need to explain what DPIAs are all about to your management or teams

If you would like a copy of this explainer with animations embedded, drop an email to: tc@purposeandmeans.io.
