Frustrated man

GDPR 5 years old - is it really?

This is the week when many data protection professionals debate and correct each other whether GDPR is 5 years old, 7 years old, etc.

The GDPR can be marked across different dates, as the timeline shows.

The dedicated data protection pro therefore has an opportunity to celebrate aspects of the GDPR’s history throughout each year.

It’s entirely up to you - 9 years old, 7 years old, 5 years old - perhaps what is more important, is how you celebrate it in your organisation.

It’s an opportunity to bring focus to your work.

An opportunity not to miss.

With a dose of imagination, you can bring your work to life.

To help you along your way, Purpose and Means will be having a ‘Great GDPR Giveaway’ this week making available for free some of our visual material that you can adapt and make use of in your context.

If you want a copy of this GDPR timeline, drop an email to: tc@purposeandmeans.io

Happy whatever you’re celebrating!
