Frustrated man

GDPR on a page

We made this one-pager of the GDPR in early 2017 as a communications tool for introducing the key aspects of the GDPR as part of employee engagement with our clients.

A highly visual overview that could be presented in 15 minutes.

Although we know the devil is in the detail, we never widely circulated the full text of the GDPR and expected people to understand it.

It needed to be explained in the unique context of each company.

Many used 50+ PowerPoint slides with hundreds of bullet points to do the same thing, using terms taken directly from the GDPR text.

Most employees struggled to understand all those bullet points, and it just reiterated the perception that the GDPR was mainly an issue for the legal department to solve.

To mark this week's anniversary around GDPR, Purpose and Means is having a ‘Great GDPR Giveaway’ making available for free some of our visual material that you can adapt and make use of in your context.

Today's giveaway is this one-pager that, if you are refreshing your data protection programme, may come in useful in your engagement activities.

If you would like a copy of this explainer with animations embedded, drop an email to: tc@purposeandmeans.io
