R. Jason Cronk is a seasoned privacy professional. The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) choose his book "Strategic Privacy by Design” as one of the principal textbooks for their CIPT course.

Cronk also serves as a member of the IAPP's Privacy Engineering Section Advisory Board.

In addition to his involvement with the IAPP, Cronk is also Co-Chair of the ISSA's Privacy Special Interest Group, chair of the forthcoming Institute of Operational Privacy Design, and president of the boutique privacy training and consulting firm, Enterprivacy Consulting Group.

With 20+ years of experience, Cronk is a rare privacy professional with a sophisticated law and technology background plus small company and Fortune 500 experience giving him a unique advantage in traversing the realms of business, law, and technology.

Prior to forming Enterprivacy Consulting Group, Cronk worked as a technical consultant in Verizon's Information Security Department and became a serial entrepreneur. After graduating with honors from Florida State University School of Law, he earned his CIPP/US and has become an active member of the privacy community through his involvement in the IAPP over the last 10 years. He has since been awarded the CIPT, CIPM and FIP designations.

Today, Cronk writes, blogs and speaks on topics including privacy by design, privacy engineering, and privacy enhancing technologies (PETs).
